Electroacoustic Weekend

Late Music are delighted to host a weekend devoted to Electro Acoustic music. Four exciting young musicians will perform works for solo instruments and/or electronics, by living composers from all over the world.

1.00pm: Recital featuring Jonathan Sage (Clarinet and Electronics); £5/3

2.15pm: Roundtable discussion chaired by composer and concert co-ordinator, Alex Harker (free)

7.00pm: Gavin Osborn (Flutes and Electronics); £5/3

8.30pm: Enrico Bertelli (Percussion and Electronics) and Radoslaw Rudnicki; £5/3

This concert ends with a unique performance of Terry Riley’s In C for flute, clarinet, percussion and live electronics.

Sunday 9th May, 7.30pm: Jane Chapman – Wired; £8/£6

A rare concert of harpsichord and electronic music featuring music by Gyorgy Ligeti, James Dillon and a New Work by Alex Harker

All concerts take place at the Unitarian Chapel, St. Saviourgate, York.
